Wing Commander Chowdhury Salahuddin

Chowdhury Salahuddin was commissioned in the Bangladesh Air Force on June 30,1988 and retired in January 2012 as a Wing Commander. During his service career he held various appointments at home and abroad including Deputy Chief of Movement control in the UN peacekeeping mission at MONUC-D. R Congo between 2007-2008.

He is an alumni of ASIA PACIFIC SCHOOL FOR SECURITY STUDIES (APCSS), Hawaii USA. He is happily married and blessed with two sons. His hobbies are reading, writing, travelling, watching movies, listening to music, and playing Golf.

His current area of expertise is South Asian security and defense and challenges for the USA in the region. He writes regularly in different dallies and security journals.
