Civil and Political Rights, democracy and democratic values, voting rights, immigrant rights and racial justices

Archer Kent Blood: Center for Civil and Political Rights

Mission

We believe democracy is the last best hope on earth. We promote UN ICCPR-United Nations’ International Covenant of Civil and Political Rights, democracy and democratic values, voting rights, immigrant rights and racial justices through civic and political education, engagement and advocacy among the South Asian Communities in New York.

We also monitor, and analyze democracy and human rights in South Asian countries; recommend, and research policy options for US Congress to promote democracy and human rights in South Asia.

In spite of our own research, we disseminate the research findings of other US Public Policy think tanks through our briefing, seminars and research articles.

Vision

We ask the United Nations (UN) to declare democracy, and knowledge as two basic human rights.
